My Approach

As an experienced therapist, I am well versed in a variety of therapeutic modalities. My approach is grounded in Psychoanalytic Theory, Attachment Theory and Interpersonal Therapy. I combine elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour, Motivational Interviewing and Emotion Focused Therapy to support clients in reaching their treatment goals.

It takes courage to open up and share your thoughts and feelings, so finding someone you feel you can connect with is important.
I help clients facing symptoms and challenges including:
Stress, anxiety, crisis, trauma, relationship breakdown, loss/grief, workplace conflict, chronic illness, life transitions, loneliness, low self-esteem, despair, sadness, emptiness, disordered eating, and substance use.
I have an open and empathic stance to my work with clients to identify, explore and process their emotions, deepening of self-awareness, self-compassion, and acceptance, improving the quality of their relationships, and leading to greater engagement and satisfaction in life.​

Virtual Therapy
The adoption of Online Therapy has become mainstream due to necessity during the pandemic. Clients often find benefit from the accessibility and efficiency of virtual treatment. However, it is not for everyone, and so I look forward to providing in-person treatment again in the near future.
